Why I Take Photos
Welcome to Brian Hall Photography. I began shooting in the mid nineties with my interest being large predators at the local zoo, where my favorite subject was an Amur tiger cub named Alex.
I found something that back then that I could not see with the naked eye: magnificent detail. Majesty stopped in time if only for a fraction of a second. I find many beautiful things while looking through the lens.
When captured in an image, this detail is opened up for the world to see. I hope you enjoy the images here as much as I enjoyed photographing them.
